We are currently looking for a hands-on Security Risk Manager for the Quality & Process Management team at TenneT. About the unit Within Quality Management we are responsible for supporting the business unit System Operations (SOP). To ensure that the main task of System Operations, Operate the Electricity System runs as smooth as possible. This team consist of 11 experts with a broad range on differs topics. From integrated security management, risk management until advising on educational needs within the unit. What will you be doing? As Security Officer within SOP you will support the Integrated Security Officer of SOP to future implement the Integrated Security Management Directive at SOP Netherlands. You will report to the Lead of the Quality management team who is accountable for reporting and updating the CISO. You will facilitate the management with identifying security risks related to the operate the electricity system processes that fall under the responsibility of the director of System Operations. You will work closely together with ISOs from other business units within TenneT. Main responsibilities Plan, facilitate, and register information security risk assessments, ensuring alignment with colleagues on risk universe structure. Support the Quality Management Lead in reporting risks and control effectiveness to the CISO. Organize and lead risk analysis and security assurance activities, including compliance reviews and internal audits. Ensure the correct definition and implementation of security controls, providing expertise on security anomalies and requirements. Drive security awareness by enabling training programs and promoting effective communication about information security within the unit. Analyze and document risk management protocols related to security, facilitating workshops with stakeholders (SOP, BTO, Asset and Facility Management, etc) to establish clear processes. Collect and generate insights from hands-on experience and feedback to improve risk management practices. Actively participate in the implementation of ISO 27001, addressing associated risks and ensuring alignment with security standards. Profile and requirements An HBO or WO degree in Security, Sustainability Studies, Electrical Engineering or other relevant study is required. 3 to 5 years of experience in Risk Management and/or (Information) Security, with proven expertise in analyzing and evaluating security risks. Strong people management skills, with the ability to lead and collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment. In-depth knowledge of security standards, including ISO 27001, and hands-on experience with their implementation. Possession of a recognized information security certification, such as those from the ISO 27000 series. Familiarity with the energy sector (or other technical industries), with an understanding of specific information security challenges and risks. Comprehensive knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing information security in the energy sector. (NES 2 is a big plus) Strong written and oral communication skills in Dutch (min B2) and a professional level of English.
